Nicole and Joe's Engagement Shoot
We're looking forward to Nicole and Joe's wedding later this year, and we had a chance to spend some time with them in Central Park, just walking and shooting. You don't have to go far to find some nice photographic opportunities, the park is a treasure trove, and we all found our comfort zone right away..... just a few images to tell the story:
Stacy and Steve's Engagement Session
We're photographing Stacy and Steve's wedding in October, and we recently got together with them at Ramapo College for an engagement shoot. They met (and fell in love) at the Ramapo campus, so they already knew all the best spots for photos, making our job a little easier. It was fun to capture their relationship in such a familiar and comfortable setting-- here's a couple who truly enjoy each other, and the whole session was smooth sailing... We'll look forward to sharing in their wedding day! A few images follow:
Alison and Rich's Engagement Shoot
In June '08 Shelley and I will get to photograph Alison and Rich's wedding at the Spring Lake Bath & Tennis Club. To get things started, we recently met up with them on the beach at Sea Girt. This was our first meeting, and we were immediately comfortable with their relaxed and playful style. An engagement shoot is the perfect way for us to get to know our couples (and vice versa), and this was no exception. After some nice shooting on the beach, we took a spin over to a park in Spring Lake to make some additional images. We're looking forward to being with them on their big day next June! Alyson and Patrick's Engagement Shoot
We recently took a spin down the Garden State Parkway to Rumson, NJ, where we met up with Alyson and Patrick, who were in Jersey for the weekend, from their home near LA. Along with all their meetings with various vendors in preparation for their May '08 wedding in Rumson, they managed to find time for an engagement shoot. We love to do this, since it gives us a chance to get to know our couples (in this case, for the first time in person) and also lets them get comfortable with our shooting style and teamwork. With Alyson and Patrick, we seemed to be "in the groove" right away, they were great and we got some very expressive images:
