Nicole and Joe's Wedding

If you page back through our blog, you'll find Nic and Joe's engagement shoot in Central Park. We were all comfortable with each other right away, and created some expressive and unique images on a fun morning..... Well, the fun definitely continued on their wedding day! Yes, there were lots of beautiful romantic moments, and we captured those, and these guys are crazy in love, but they also did some extra planning to bring some style and joy to the day. After the ceremony at St. Peter the Apostle in River Edge, we went to a nearby park for some memorable images. And then on to Macaluso's for the reception. We love it when a plan comes together!

Alyson & Patrick's Rumson Wedding

We traveled to Rumson, NJ, for Alyson and Patrick's wedding.... actually, so did they, since they are residents of Call-ee-for-nee-uh (as their governor likes to say). After getting ready at the Molly Pitcher Inn over in Red Bank, their ceremony was in Rumson at Holy Cross Church, a real classic. The reception was at the home of Alyson's brother, a gorgeous estate where they hired in a tent, catering, tons of flowers, the works, including a beautiful 4 tier cake from Pink Cake Box.... Great couple, great locations, perfect weather, great music, lots of careful details-- what's not to like?  And to top it all off, Alyson and Patrick were definitely in the love zone!

Liz and David's Wedding at Tappan Hill

We have the best clients in the world, not sure how it happens, but we're glad it does! Take Liz and David for example: polished, elegant, sophisticated, and at the same time, totally real and expressive and spontaneous. They had their ceremony at a gorgeous new-old church in Greenwich, then celebrated with friends and family at Tappan Hill, the classy estate just north of the Tappan Zee, with catering by Abigail Kirsch. (Actually, at one point, Tappan Hill was the home of Samuel Clemens, but for whatever reason, he wasn't there that night...) So we had a day filled with beautiful opportunities for photos, and just let Liz and David be Liz and David, how are you gonna beat that?

Julie & Colin's Congress Hall Wedding

Congress Hall is a wonderful, historic oceanfront hotel in Cape May, we love to work there for the exceptional photo opportunities, and for the kind and supportive staff. The combination of history and ocean views is hard to beat, so we were excited to shoot Julie and Colin's wedding. The weather looked a little iffy as we rode down the Parkway to Cape May, but wouldn't you know, the sun showed up right on cue, and we captured a great outdoor ceremony, some expressive spontaneous portraits on the beach, and a rockin' party in the ballroom. All of this would be plenty, but Julie & Colin's sense of joy and spontaneity put this one over the top. Here's a nice one from our walk 'n shoot on the beach:

Julie & Bruce's Wedding

Julie & Bruce's wedding was at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge on a beautiful Sunday. They did a great job with their planning and details, and they were so poised, connective and expressive, it was a pleasure to capture their day. After a lovely outdoor ceremony, we had a little time for some spontaneous portraits, and then it was party time with their friends and family. Lots of love was in the house, and I know these two have a beautiful future ahead.... A few pix:
