More About This Website

Welcome to our blog! Here you can learn a little more about ShelleyAndKeith Photography-- who we are, what we do, and how we do it-- with plenty of images from our photographic adventures. You can see more wedding imagery on our PORTFOLIO SITE, www.shelleyandkeith.com

We photograph weddings in New Jersey, New York City, Connecticut, and Philadelphia, always working together as a team. For the start of the day, we can be in two locations to capture the preparation of bride and groom simultaneously. The rest of the day involves our practiced teamwork. After hundreds of weddings, we know how to capture moments from multiple angles simultaneously, which expands the storytelling power of our coverage. We have each won awards from the Wedding PhotoJournalist Association (WPJA), and also have an award from the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (AGWPJA). Our work has been published in Brides Magazine. We are a 2010 pick for The Knot's Best of Weddings.

We look forward to capturing the unique and subtle qualities of our couples, letting their relationship lead the way, with a minimum of posing. After all, the whole idea is to communicate the singular love story that is at the heart of a beautiful wedding day.

    Plan B

You know how they say it's good luck to have rain on your wedding day? Well, we've had a series of very lucky couples in these past couple months. Seems like beautiful fall weather during the week has had a way of leading to a wet weekend with annoying consistency... However, every one of these weather-challenged couples has refused to let Mother Nature keep them from having a great time, and we feel that there are two main reasons: one, they made up their mind about having fun on their wedding day; and two, they all did some thinking about "Plan B". Plan B is your friend; Plan B will set your mind at ease; Plan B will guarantee a happy ending to your wedding story.... It's just comes down to having an alternate plan in case the weather turns nasty-- an indoor location that is conducive to photography. That's Plan B... and once you have it, you can relax and enjoy, basking in the security that Plan B provides.
