More About This Website

Welcome to our blog! Here you can learn a little more about ShelleyAndKeith Photography-- who we are, what we do, and how we do it-- with plenty of images from our photographic adventures. You can see more wedding imagery on our PORTFOLIO SITE, www.shelleyandkeith.com

We photograph weddings in New Jersey, New York City, Connecticut, and Philadelphia, always working together as a team. For the start of the day, we can be in two locations to capture the preparation of bride and groom simultaneously. The rest of the day involves our practiced teamwork. After hundreds of weddings, we know how to capture moments from multiple angles simultaneously, which expands the storytelling power of our coverage. We have each won awards from the Wedding PhotoJournalist Association (WPJA), and also have an award from the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (AGWPJA). Our work has been published in Brides Magazine. We are a 2010 pick for The Knot's Best of Weddings.

We look forward to capturing the unique and subtle qualities of our couples, letting their relationship lead the way, with a minimum of posing. After all, the whole idea is to communicate the singular love story that is at the heart of a beautiful wedding day.

    Gerry & Jamie's Wedding

Our day with Gerry and Jamie began at Spring Lake Park, where we met for a casual portrait session. We love to walk and shoot with our couples, letting their personalities and body language tell the story. Our 2-shooter teamwork lets us capture a lot of different looks, and we followed up in our post processing with a variety of styles and treatments.... Then on to The Mill in Spring Lake Heights, where they were married in a beautiful lakeside ceremony. The evening party was a blast, with Gerry and Jamie surrounded by the joy and zaniness of their guests. We love moments, and this day had plenty of them!
